About Blaise Misiek
Born in Gdynia, Poland, Blaise was given his first camera, a Russian Smena, at the tender age of 5. While other kids were out playing, he was happiest honing his craft in his father's dark room. As his family moved across Europe and Canada, (seven schools before he was 12), Blaise learned to capture his life through the lens. Now, with a background in fashion and still life photography, Blaise continues to tell unique stories with vision, creative wit and that same child-like curiosity. He has collaborated with many of the country's leading brands, including Holt Renfrew, Hudson's Bay Company, Drake General Store and Mjölk. Blaise lives in Toronto, Canada, with his partner, fashion stylist Amie, their 11-year-old daughter Aria & 3 year-old son Bowie. They're a family of chocolate fanatics.
